We're seeking a motivated teammate for our Back End and Integrations Team who's not just skilled but also deeply enthusiastic about the travel sector. As a key member of our small yet highly ambitious team, you'll have the unique opportunity to shape our proprietary IT product. This role isn't about merely coding; it's about influencing the very core of how our system is built and how it delivers an unparalleled experience to our users.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Write efficient and maintainable back-end code and develop PHP modules.
  • Understand and collaborate with the existing codebase to ensure stability and scalability.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve tracking issues quickly and reliably.
  • Work on integration projects with external partners via APIs, ensuring seamless and secure data exchange.
  • Optimize and maintain database structures to support application functionality and performance.

 

Requirements:

  • 0,5 + years of commercial experience in PHP development during one job at the company.
  • Proficiency in PHP 7+ and Symfony(or similar) framework.
  • Skills in MySQL, HTML, CSS, JS, jQuery, and basic web development.
  • Experience with Redis, XML, JSON
  • Experience with YouTrack or similar project management tools.
  • Knowledge of Ukrainian or Russian is required

     

Nice to have:

  • Familiarity with Twig(or similar) templating engine
  • Knowledge and ability to work with Linux (nginx, php-fpm, docker)
  • Work with high-load projects
  • Understanding of SOAP and familiarity with Linux
  • Prior collaboration with travel industry stakeholders like tour operators, travel agents, hotels, and airlines.

 

 What we offer: 

  • Working schedule: Monday to Friday.
  • The standard workday is 8 hours, with flexibility in scheduling. Daily stand-up at 11:00 Kyiv time is mandatory.
