Payment Operations Specialist (Conversion Manager) Offline

About the Role:

We are launching a new iGaming project and looking for a Conversion Manager to lead the optimization of payment flows, improve approval rates, reduce transaction failures, and ensure a seamless user payment journey. 

You will be responsible for analyzing conversion metrics, managing PSPs, identifying friction points, and proposing solutions that directly impact revenue and user experience.

 

     Key Responsibilities:

 

     Conversion Monitoring & Optimization

  • Monitor payment conversion across regions, methods, and providers
  • Analyze decline reasons (issuer blocks, fraud, technical errors)
  • Optimize payment routing to improve approval rates
  • Identify and evaluate new PSPs and alternative payment methods

     Fraud & Risk Management

  • Monitor suspicious activity in coordination with the Anti-Fraud team
  • Evaluate fraud and chargeback metrics and propose mitigation strategies
  • Adjust limits and rules to balance risk and conversion

     Payment Infrastructure Oversight

  • Manage relationships with PSPs and aggregators
  • Support technical integration of new payment methods
  • Reconcile PSP reports with internal transaction data

     Analytics & Reporting

  • Build reports and dashboards on payment funnel performance
  • Conduct root cause analysis of underperforming channels
  • Provide regular reporting on key metrics: Net Deposits, Approval Rate, Chargeback Rate
     

     Requirements:
 

  • 1–2 years of experience in payment operations, analytics, or optimization
  • Hands-on experience with PSPs, acquirers, or processors
  • Solid understanding of online payment mechanics (payouts, chargebacks, fraud)
  • Experience in iGaming, FinTech, or eCommerce is a strong advantage
  • Proficiency in BI tools (Power BI, Tableau, Looker, etc.)
  • Strong Excel skills and comfort with financial and payment reporting
     

     Nice-to-Have:
 

  • Experience with Indian payment systems (UPI, PhonePe, PayTM, GPay, etc.)
  • Familiarity with Tier 3 markets and high-risk payment environments
  • Knowledge of anti-fraud systems and risk management thresholds
  • Understanding of key iGaming metrics (GGR, NGR, Net Deposits)
  • Technical understanding of payment API integrations
