About the Role:

Responsibilities:

• Design and implement scalable backend services that process medical data and user interactions.
• Work on core infrastructure supporting mission-critical business operations.
• Lead backend components for evolving projects involving external system integrations.
• Collaborate with engineers, product managers, and data teams to build reliable, secure systems.
• Drive innovation in system performance, architecture, and software quality.

Tech Stack:

Scala, JavaScript & TypeScript, Kafka, Kafka Streams, MongoDB, PostgreSQL, Redis, AWS, Kubernetes, Docker, Jenkins, Nginx, ELK, Prometheus.

Qualifications:

• 5+ years of professional experience as a Backend Engineer.
• Proficiency in Scala, Java, Python, or Node.js.
• Solid experience with relational and document-based databases.
• Hands-on knowledge of Kubernetes.
• Familiarity with event-based systems (e.g., Kafka, RabbitMQ) is a plus.
• Experience with CI/CD tools is an advantage.
• Exposure to ReactJS is a bonus.
• Eagerness to learn, adapt quickly, and take ownership of projects.
• Degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience.
