Backend .NET Engineer
About the Role
We’re looking for a Backend Engineer with solid experience in .NET Core to help us grow our gaming and infrastructure platforms. You’ll join a small, fast-moving team where you’ll design, build, and maintain scalable backend services, contribute to architectural decisions, and take ownership of features from idea to production. This role is ideal for someone who wants to have a real impact, not just code tickets.
Who You Are
- You’ve spent 4+ years building backend services with .NET Core and ASP .NET Core
- You’ve designed and protected REST endpoints (JWT, OAuth) in production systems
- You’re fluent with EF Core and PostgreSQL—writing migrations, tuning slow queries, and keeping schemas in sync
- You structure code by Clean Architecture (thin controllers, domain/business layers) and have at least toyed with MediatR
- You write and value unit tests (and often integration tests)
- You’ve shipped features in small teams (3–6 people), iterating every 1–2 weeks and learning from each release
- You want a say in the roadmap and architectural trade-offs, not just “code this ticket”
- You value observability—health checks, logs, metrics and real-time alerts
Nice to Have
- Experience with AWS services (S3, DynamoDB, RDS) in your CI/CD pipelines
- You’ve set up GitHub Actions (or similar) to build, test and deploy on every merge
What You’ll Do
- Join a lean backend squad to expand our gaming & infra platform
- Own end-to-end design and delivery of new services
- Propose and drive architectural improvements—refactorings, proof-of-concepts, API versioning
- Build and maintain automated tests, logging, metrics and deployment pipelines
- Work with frontend engineers on API contracts and feature roll-outs
