Cloud/DevOps Engineer Offline

About the Role
We’re looking for a DevOps Engineer to join our Platform Engineering team to build and support scalable, secure, and reliable infrastructure. You’ll play a key role in accelerating software delivery through automation, enhancing CI/CD pipelines, and developing internal tooling that empowers developers across the organization.
In this role, you’ll work closely with software engineers, SREs, and security partners to streamline operations, reduce deployment friction, and improve system observability. You’ll help evolve our infrastructure as code practices, manage cloud resources, and contribute to scaling a robust and efficient developer platform.
We value collaboration, pragmatism, and engineering excellence. Our stack includes Python, Go, Terraform, GitHub Actions, and we operate fully in AWS. You’ll help define best practices and drive automation initiatives that elevate developer productivity and platform reliability.

Responsibilities
- Design and maintain efficient CI/CD workflows with GitHub Actions
- Implement and manage Infrastructure as Code using Terraform
- Develop automation scripts and internal tools using Python or Go
- Enhance system observability through metrics, dashboards, and alerting
- Manage AWS cloud infrastructure and container orchestration systems (ECS or Kubernetes)
- Collaborate on designing resilient, secure architectures for microservices
- Improve deployment speed, reliability, and rollback strategies
- Partner with teams to drive operational excellence and reduce manual toil
- Support and onboard developers with streamlined self-service solutions
 

Required Skills
- 4+ years of experience in DevOps, SRE, or Cloud Engineering roles
- Production experience with AWS and infrastructure automation tools
- Proficiency in Python or Go for building and maintaining tooling
- Strong understanding of CI/CD workflows and release pipelines
- Experience managing containerized environments (ECS, Kubernetes, Docker)
- Familiarity with monitoring tools and incident response practices
- Excellent collaboration and communication skills

Nice-to-Have Skills
- Exposure to Kafka or event-driven architecture
- Knowledge of security best practices and compliance requirements
- Experience working with internal developer platforms or platform engineering teams
- Interest in improving developer experience and reducing operational overhead
