Key Responsibilities

  • Define and manage sprint scope, priorities, and delivery goals
  • Break down product requirements into clear, actionable tasks with acceptance criteria
  • Ensure planning is realistic, aligned with priorities, and well-documented
  • Lead Agile processes (Scrum/Kanban): planning, stand-ups, reviews, retrospectives
  • Track progress, deadlines, and blockers to ensure timely delivery
  • Coordinate cross-team dependencies and help resolve blockers
  • Provide regular updates to stakeholders on status, timelines, and risks
  • Align with leadership on scope changes, reprioritization, and resource needs
  • Maintain synchronization between product, design, and development teams
  • Collaborate with QA and developers to uphold quality standards
  • Support and coordinate the release process into production
  • Propose and implement workflow improvements and new tools
  • Manage and configure project tools (Jira, Confluence, Slack)

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience as a Project Manager in IT
  • Solid understanding of the full Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
  • Familiarity with software architecture basics, backend/frontend interactions, APIs, and CI/CD workflows
  • Practical experience managing projects from discovery to release
  • Strong delivery management skills in Agile environments
  • Proficiency in Jira, Confluence, and Slack for project coordination and setup
  • Ability to decompose complex features into clear, structured tasks
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Confidence working with stakeholders across product, design, and tech
  • Adaptability and sound decision-making in dynamic, fast-paced environments

Nice to Have

  • Experience working with distributed or cross-functional teams
  • Background in QA, development, or system analysis
  • Experience launching products from scratch or in early-stage startups
  • Familiarity with release and change management practices
  • Ability to analyze basic delivery metrics (velocity, throughput, cycle time)
