Senior DevOps Engineer

About the role:

You’ll join a stable and experienced DevOps team responsible for maintaining production environments, automating infrastructure, and supporting developers in their day-to-day operations.
 

Key responsibilities:

  • Ensure production environment stability; respond to incidents and alerts (including on-call duties outside business hours)
  • Handle direct customer requests
  • Participate in migrations, modernization efforts, and new environment setups
  • Perform change management tasks: upgrading Linux OS, Kubernetes, OX custom applications, directory servers, middleware
  • Maintain and improve automation (IaC, CI/CD pipelines)
  • Build and manage pipelines
  • Maintain development and staging environments
  • Support developers with infrastructure-related tasks
     

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience in DevOps or infrastructure engineering
  • Fluent English (able to pass technical interviews with German stakeholders)
  • Strong Linux (Debian) and terminal/CLI skills
  • Solid experience with Kubernetes, Helm
  • Proven hands-on work with Terraform, Ansible, Chef, GitLab CI
  • Familiarity with OpenStack, Scality (Object Store), MariaDB, Cassandra, Redis Cluster
  • Experience with OpenLDAP, middleware, and logging systems
     

Nice to have:

  • Knowledge of email infrastructure: SMTP, IMAP, SASL, Sieve, DNS, DKIM/SPF
  • Experience with Dovecot or similar email servers
