Junior Manual QA

This will be work on two projects, as neither of them is full-time. Both projects are interesting and well-known companies in different domains. I will be happy to talk about them during the interview.

Requirements:

📍1+ year of hands-on experience as a Manual QA, preferably with mobile and web applications

📍Experience designing and executing test cases for web, Android and/or iOS apps

📍Solid understanding of SDLC and common testing methodologies (functional, regression, exploratory)

📍Familiarity with defect-tracking tools (e.g., Jira) and documenting clear bug reports

📍Ability to read and understand product specifications and translate them into concise, reproducible test cases

📍Basic familiarity with HTTP/REST concepts and using tools like Postman for quick API checks

📍Good verbal and written communication skills (English B1/B2 minimum) for collaborating with the team and reporting issues

Responsibilities:

✔️Create, maintain, and execute detailed manual test cases and checklists for mobile app (web, Android and/or iOS)

✔️Perform functional, regression, usability, and localization testing on new features and bug fixes

✔️Log, triage, and track defects through resolution; work closely with developers to ensure timely fixes

✔️Collaborate with team members during sprint ceremonies to clarify acceptance criteria and understand new functionality

✔️Perform smoke testing on every release build and verify stability after each deployment to ensure no critical issues reach production

✔️Provide clear, step-by-step instructions and status updates to stakeholders on how to reproduce or resolve reported issues

Would be a plus:

• Any hands-on experience writing basic automation checks for mobile and web (e.g., Cypress, Playwright)
• Familiarity with API-level testing (Postman, REST-assured) to validate backend endpoints supporting the mobile flows
• Understanding of CI/CD pipelines (e.g., GitHub Actions) and how QA fits into an Agile release process
• Exposure to marketplace-style or real estate-focused applications, especially workflows around listings, bookings, and payments
• Knowledge of mobile testing tools like Charles Proxy or Google Firebase Crashlytics for deeper issue investigation
