Senior DevOps Engineer

As we scale our operations and prepare for new product launches, we're looking for a DevOps, someone who’s ready to take full ownership of the DevOps side of our infrastructure and lay the foundation for a strong DevOps team in the future.

REQUIREMENTS

• 5+ years of experience as a DevOps Engineer;
• Advanced expertise in Cloud platforms, particularly AWS (e.g., EC2, S3, RDS, ElastiCache, EKS) and tools like Ansible, Chef and Jenkins;
• Hands-on experience with Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) solutions such as Terraform, CloudFormation, and CDK;
• Expert-level knowledge in Networking, VPNs, and Security;
• Proven ability to design and implement CI/CD pipelines and automate release cycles;
• Prior experience managing high-load production systems and ensuring their reliability;
• Familiarity with on-call support duties (e.g., PagerDuty) and troubleshooting live systems;
• Demonstrated experience in designing and building distributed production systems for real-world users;
• Deep understanding of Scalability, Availability, Latency, Fault Tolerance, and Throughput, with practical experience in technologies like TCP/IP, DNS, and load balancing;
• Expertise in containerization technologies, including Docker and Kubernetes;
• Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Bash, and PowerShell;
• Strong understanding of DevOps tools, scripting, and container ecosystems;
• Solid knowledge of relational and NoSQL databases, including writing complex SQL queries;
• Experience with queueing systems such as RabbitMQ, Kafka, or Kinesis;
• English proficiency at B2 level or higher.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Ensure the smooth operation and reliability of the production system;
• Develop and implement a robust observability capability for both technical and product-level Key Performance Indicators (KPIs);
• Design, implement, and maintain Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines for efficient software delivery;
• Identify and implement strategies for cost optimization within the infrastructure and operations; 
• Implement and maintain security measures to safeguard the integrity and confidentiality of the system.
