Android Developer (AAOS) Offline
We’re looking to strengthen our Android team with a Senior Android Developer who has hands-on experience with Android Automotive (AAOS) and a passion for building high-performance in-vehicle experiences.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Participating in refinement and development of AAOS apps;
- Designing, implementing, and testing new features using Kotlin, Android 14, Jetpack, and Voice Assistant APIs;
- Collaborating with cross-functional teammates including Backend Devs, QA, Designers, PMs;
- Ensuring deep system integration and delivering seamless user experiences;
- Consulting on POCs as an Android/AAOS expert, when needed;
- Bug fixing, maintaining and improving existing functionality;
Writing clean, scalable code and contributing to technical decisions.
What we expect from you:
- Strong experience with Android Automotive OS (AAOS) — must-have;
- Solid background in Android development (Kotlin, Jetpack, Android 14, etc.);
- Hands-on experience with deep system-level integration and voice technologies;
- Familiarity with AOSP and/or automotive HMI — a big plus;
- English level: B2+ (working language of the team);
- Availability for full-time engagement;
- Based in or available to work within EU-friendly time zones.
Project & Team Overview:
- The Android team is part of a wider cross-functional team of ~14 people:
Tech & People Lead, PM, 2 Backend Devs, 3 Android Devs, iOS Dev, 3 QA (Manual + Automation), QA Lead, Tech Writer, Designer; - Entire team is Ukrainian, distributed across the EU and Ukraine;
- Working hours mostly follow Kyiv time, but we’re flexible across most EU time zones.
Project Info:
