Junior QA Engineer

The growing team of two dozen silicon, hardware, software, and materials engineers working on creating products with integrated magnetics that are far more cost and size-effective than existing solutions. Our Ukrainian team is engaged in software development, product definition, and testing process.

Project

Innovative, first-to-market Graphical IDE for semiconductor products (including ICs), with software simulation and hardware development tools support, targeting for the world biggest technology companies.

Job description

Responsibilities:

• Ensuring product quality (basic QC activities)
• Manual testing of desktop application (in accordance with assigned QA tasks)
• Preparing checklists, test cases and other testing artifacts
• Regression testing of product release candidates
• Tracking of bugs and their verification

Requirements:

• At least 6 months of commercial testing experience in web, mobile or desktop applications
• Understanding test documentation (test plan, test case, checklist, bug report, etc.)
• Ability to clearly describe bug reports and any issues
• Experience with bug-tracking systems
• Experience with task management tools like Jira
• At least an Intermediate level of English

Nice to have:

• Experience in automation testing 
• Knowledge of different platforms (macOS, Linux, Windows)
