Automation Engineer Offline

We’re looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Automation Engineer to help us improve the quality, reliability, and speed of our development process through well-designed automation. In this role, you will work closely with developers, testers, and product teams to build automated test suites, CI/CD pipelines, and frameworks that ensure high-quality releases and efficient workflows.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain robust test automation frameworks for web, API, and backend services
• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines for fast feedback and reliable deployments
• Work closely with developers and QA to define acceptance criteria and test strategies
• Perform root cause analysis on failures and work with teams to improve product quality
• Identify areas of inefficiency and automate manual testing or deployment tasks
• Monitor test results, maintain test data, and ensure timely test execution
• Contribute to documentation, knowledge sharing, and QA tooling improvements

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in test automation or DevOps automation
• Strong proficiency with one or more test frameworks (e.g., Cypress, Playwright, Selenium, JUnit)
• Experience in scripting or programming languages (e.g., JavaScript, Python, Java)
• Solid understanding of CI/CD pipelines and tools (e.g., GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Jenkins)
• Familiarity with REST APIs and automated API testing (e.g., Postman, REST Assured)
• Experience working with version control (Git) and agile development workflows
• Ability to collaborate across technical and non-technical teams
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills

Nice to Have

• Experience with performance or load testing tools (e.g., JMeter, k6)
• Background in B2B SaaS or enterprise software testing
• Familiarity with containerized environments (Docker, Kubernetes)
• Security testing or test data management experience
