Blockchain DevOps Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

• Infrastructure Management:

Design, deploy, and maintain scalable and secure blockchain infrastructure.

Automate infrastructure provisioning, monitoring, and management using tools such as Terraform and Ansible.

• Monitoring and Incident Management:

Implement and manage monitoring, logging, and alerting systems, including Prometheus, Grafana, and the ELK Stack.

Proactively monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues to ensure high availability and reliability.

Manage incident response and conduct post-mortem analyses to enhance system resilience.

• Security and Compliance:

Ensure the security of infrastructure and applications by implementing best practices and conducting regular security assessments.

• Collaboration and Support:

Collaborate with blockchain engineers and data scientists to support MEV searcher and market-making strategies.

Provide technical support and guidance to other team members.

Qualifications:

• Education and Experience:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, related field, or equivalent practical experience.

3+ years of experience in DevOps, SRE, or a similar role.

• Technical Skills:

Expert-level working with Linux-based systems is a must.

Good knowledge and practical experience of monitoring and logging tools (Prometheus, Grafana, VictoriaMetrics, and ELK Stack).

Proficiency with containerisation and orchestration tools (Docker, Kubernetes, and Helm chart) is a must.

Experience with on-premise datacenters.

Experience with infrastructure as code (Terraform/Terragrunt, Ansible, or similar).

Knowledge of CI/CD tools (BitBucket, ArgoCD, Harness, etc.).

Solid understanding of networking, security, and system administration.

Blockchain knowledge:

Basic understanding of blockchain technology and decentralised applications.

Experience with blockchain infrastructure (nodes, validators, etc.) is a plus.
