Junior Data Scientist (Project-Based)

We are Harmix (www.harmix.ai), a Ukrainian startup creating innovative products for the music industry. Our mission is to transform music search and analysis using advanced AI technologies.

We are looking for a Junior Data Scientist (Project-Based) to support our efforts in integrating and optimizing large language models (LLMs).

🎯 Project Description

Your primary responsibility will be to distill a larger language model (LLM) into a smaller, more efficient one using our internal datasets. You’ll fine-tune and evaluate the OpenAI models, evaluate performance on specific tasks, and work with the team to ensure results are measurable and production-ready.

🔍 What We Are Looking For

• Knowledge of Python, including libraries such as NumPy and Pandas.
• Experience with LLM APIs such as OpenAI API.
• Ability to evaluate experiments using metrics such as F1-score, precision, recall, and accuracy.
• Basic understanding of model distillation and prompt engineering.
