Developer Integration Support Engineer (JavaScript / API Focus)

Summary
We're seeking a Developer Integration & Support Engineer who combines strong JavaScript and API skills with a customer-first mindset. You'll help our clients successfully integrate our JavaScript SDK and API into their websites,
debug technical issues, and contribute to high-quality developer documentation. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys solving real-world integration problems and improving the overall developer experience.

Key Responsibilities
- Assist developers with integrating our JavaScript SDK and API into their websites or apps;
- Debug frontend issues (JavaScript errors, DOM behavior, CORS problems) and backend API requests;
- Write and maintain developer-facing content: tutorials, guides, FAQs, and troubleshooting docs;
- Serve as a technical contact during customer onboarding and integration phases;
- Maintain internal and external knowledge bases, organizing reusable solutions;
- Collaborate with engineering/product teams to improve the SDK and developer tooling;
- Escalate and track bugs or product feedback reported by clients.

Required Skills & Experience
- Strong JavaScript proficiency - ability to write/debug vanilla JS code;
- Hands-on experience with REST APIs, including error handling and auth (API keys, OAuth);
- Confident in using browser dev tools to debug frontend issues;
- Experience supporting SDKs, embed scripts, or third-party API integrations;
- Excellent written communication skills - ability to explain complex technical concepts clearly;
- Customer empathy and the ability to support both technical and semi-technical users;
- Familiarity with web commerce concepts (e.g., shopping carts, checkout, payment flows);
- Proficiency with tools such as Postman, Git, and issue/ticket tracking platforms.

Nice to Have (Bonus Skills)
- Experience with e-commerce platforms like Shopify, WooCommerce, or Magento;
- Backend knowledge (e.g., Python, Node.js, PHP) to support deeper technical issues;
- Background in writing developer documentation or blog posts;
- Experience configuring or debugging webhooks;
- Engagement in developer communities (Stack Overflow, GitHub, Dev.to, etc.);
- Previous experience in a remote or cross-functional SaaS environment
