Python Developer (Middle+) — Internal Product to $4000

Our clients span across various industries worldwide, and our focus is on providing tailored, high-quality solutions to meet their unique business needs.

We are currently looking for a skilled Python Developer to join our team to work on a long-term internal product, designed to improve business process automation, data handling, and operational efficiency within the company. This is not a client-facing project — the product is being developed in-house and owned entirely by our team.

Who You Are:

We’re looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Python Developer with at least a Middle level of experience, who enjoys solving practical business problems through clean, scalable backend development. You’ll take part in building and evolving a product from the ground up in close collaboration with analysts and stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

• Backend Development: Build and maintain internal services and APIs using Python.
• Data Handling: Develop tools for collecting, processing, and managing structured/unstructured data.
• System Integration: Create and maintain integrations with third-party systems and APIs.
• Automation: Identify opportunities and implement solutions to automate internal operations.
• Database Work: Design and optimize relational and non-relational databases.
• Code Quality: Write maintainable, testable, and well-documented code.
• Team Collaboration: Work closely with analysts, PMs, and other developers to align on business needs and deliver solutions.

Required Experience With:

• RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation)
• LLMs (Large Language Models, e.g. OpenAI, Claude)
• Vector Databases (e.g. Pinecone, FAISS, Chroma)
• Scraping (e.g. BeautifulSoup, Playwright, Selenium)
• Embedding Models (e.g. OpenAI Embeddings, SentenceTransformers)
• Data Analysis & Manipulation: pandas, numpy, polars
• Visualization: matplotlib, seaborn, plotly, altair
• Machine Learning: scikit-learn, xgboost, lightgbm, catboost
• Deep Learning: TensorFlow, PyTorch, Keras
• Natural Language Processing (NLP): spaCy, transformers (Hugging Face), NLTK, gensim

Your Skills and Experience:

• 2+ years of commercial experience with Python
• Strong knowledge of Python frameworks: FastAPI, Flask, Django
• Experience with building and consuming RESTful APIs, SOAP, GraphQL
• Good understanding of relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL)
• Confident with Git and version control workflows
• English — Intermediate+ (written and spoken)

Nice to Have but Not Required:

• Experience with microservices architecture
• Familiarity with Docker or cloud platforms (AWS/GCP)
• Basic understanding of CI/CD workflows
