Digis seeks a Senior Python Developer to join our remote team.

The team includes renowned spiritual teachers, engineers, and creatives united by a shared mission to bring conscious technology to the world.
Project country and TimeZone: Spain, European time
Age and stage: Early stage — Progressive Web App in development, MVP hardening phase
Duration: long-term
Methodology: Startup agile (informal, fast-paced, CTO-driven)
The team: CTO, 1 Backend Engineer (to be hired — this vacancy), 1 DevOps (to be hired)

Responsibilities:
— Migrate Chat API to WebSocket-based real-time communication
— Implement Redis-backed caching for inference
— Integrate Firebase Auth + Firestore
— Port LLM chat history to DynamoDB
Requirements:
— 5+ years of professional experience with Python
— 2+ years of hands-on experience with FastAPI
— Any experience working with Redis, WebSockets, and AWS
— Upper intermediate English level
