Middle WordPress Developer + Sysadmin

Remote | Full-time | Timezone: EST (USA)

We are looking for a Middle WordPress Developer + Sysadmin for a long-term collaboration with a U.S.-based client.
You will work directly with one client across multiple projects — from marketing and e-commerce websites to internal tools.

This is  full-time remote position for someone who combines strong WordPress development skills with hands-on system administration experience.

 Requirements

• 2+ years with Wordpress and sysadmin function
• English level: Intermediate+ (spoken & written)
• Solid knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
• Experience with server administration and web hosting
• Confident working with DNS, domains, Google Workspace, and email platforms
• Strong independent work ethic and ability to solve problems efficiently
   

 Key responsibilities

1. Website development & maintenance

• Build and maintain WordPress websites
• Customize layouts and features using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
• Regularly update and modify existing websites to ensure content relevance, functional accuracy, mobile responsiveness, and browser compatibility
• Perform technical maintenance, bug fixes, and feature updates
   

2. Hosting & server administration

• Set up and manage hosting environments (DNS, domains, SSL, backups)
• Monitor performance, ensure uptime and security, and troubleshoot server-related issues
• Maintain servers and assist with general infrastructure tasks
   

3. Email administration & support

• Manage business email accounts (Google Workspace and Webmail)
• Create and configure new accounts, reset passwords, and troubleshoot email delivery issues
• Ensure consistent and reliable internal email communication
   

4. IT support & troubleshooting

• Provide technical support to team members for issues related to software, connectivity, and device setup
• Quickly diagnose and resolve technical problems to minimize downtime
   

 Working conditions

• 🕘 Schedule: Monday–Friday, 09:00–18:00 EST / 16:00–01:00 Kyiv time
• 🕒 Workload: Approx. 40 hours/week (may vary depending on project load)
