Senior SAP consultant – Reporting System Customization $$$ Offline

Client:

A leading global fine wine investment platform based in UK, is seeking to enhance its financial reporting processes. 

We need a Senior SAP Consultant with expertise in SAP FI/CO to customize and optimize SAP reporting system, ensuring compliance with UK financial regulations and supporting accurate reporting for wine portfolio management and market offerings.

Responsibilities:

• Customize SAP FI/CO reports (e.g., balance sheets, profit & loss, cash flow, portfolio performance).
• Identify and resolve errors in current reporting processes.
• Train finance team to generate accurate, compliant reports in SAP.
• Automate reporting templates and dashboards for wine investment analytics.
• Ensure compliance with UK GAAP, IFRS, and relevant UK tax regulations** (e.g., VAT for wine trading).

• Document configurations and provide ongoing system support.

   

Requirements:

• 7+ years of SAP FI/CO experience, with 3+ years in financial services or asset management.
• Expertise in SAP reporting tools (SAP Query, Report Painter/Writer).
• Strong knowledge of UK GAAP, IFRS, and UK tax regulations related to trading or investments.
• Proven ability to train end-users with varying SAP proficiency.
• SAP FI/CO certification preferred.

• Excellent communication(English B2+) and problem-solving skills.

   

Preferred:

• Experience with SAP S/4HANA Finance, SAP BW, or SAP Analytics Cloud.
• ABAP skills for custom report development.
• Familiarity with alternative investments or luxury asset markets (e.g., wine, art).
