Junior PHP Developer to $1200

Position: Junior PHP Developer (Support & Maintenance – Crypto Projects)

Overview:
We are seeking a motivated Junior PHP Developer to join our fast-paced development team working on cutting-edge crypto and fintech platforms. This role is ideal for someone eager to grow in web development while actively supporting users and maintaining live systems. You will primarily assist in resolving technical support tickets and performing small development tasks in our PHP-based infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor and respond to technical support tickets, providing effective solutions to users in the crypto space.
• Troubleshoot and resolve minor bugs or inconsistencies in PHP codebases.
• Execute basic code updates, database queries, and content adjustments as needed.
• Collaborate with senior developers to escalate complex issues and maintain platform stability.
• Assist in testing new features, fixes, and integrations before release.
• Document common resolutions and contribute to internal knowledge bases.

Requirements:

• Solid foundation in PHP and object-oriented programming (OOP).
• Working knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and MySQL.
• Familiarity with PHP frameworks like Laravel or Symfony is a plus.
• Ability to read and understand existing code and contribute to small features or fixes.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience with Git, basic Linux commands, and ticketing/project management tools.
• Understanding of blockchain, cryptocurrency ecosystems, wallets, and smart contracts is a must.

Preferred Qualifications:

• 0.5+ year of experience (academic, freelance, or professional) with PHP development.
• Exposure to DeFi platforms, exchanges, or Web3 technologies.
• Previous experience in technical support or QA roles.
• Knowledge of REST APIs and basic debugging tools.
