Meta API Developer (backend-first, front-end a bonus) to $3300 Offline

We’re looking for a backend developer (Python or Node.js/TypeScript) with solid, hands-on experience using the Meta (Facebook) APIs. Front-end skills in React/Next.js/TypeScript are a bonus but not required.

About us:

HeroContent is a six-person Czech Republic startup building social-media automation tools for restaurants. We have paying clients, we’re growing fast, and we recently closed a funding round. If it’s a good fit, this is a long-term position with clear paths for salary progression and professional growth. We work in Sprints and track progress in Notion.

What you’ll do:

You’ll own everything related to Meta/Facebook automations, including:

• Get the Meta app approved – audit the current app, fix any gaps, and drive the App Review process until approval.
• Automate ads – create, pause, and report on Meta Ads via the Marketing API (backend only).
• Send monthly reports – gather Instagram/Facebook metrics, produce a clear summary, and generate a PDF (backend only).

Must-have:

• Proven work with Meta Graph & Marketing APIs, including the App Review process.
• 3+ years coding in Python or Node.js/TypeScript.
• Comfortable with Git/GitHub pull-request flow.
• Solid MySQL querying and schema design.
• Basic CI/CD know-how (AWS Lambda, GitHub, AWS CodeBuild, or similar).
• Cloud infrastructure understanding (AWS Lambda, CloudWatch, or similar).
• Clear written English or Russian.

Nice-to-have:

• latest LLM APIs experience (OpenAI, Azure AI).
• React / Next.js / TypeScript experience.
• experience working with images from code.

Work style:

Remote-only, with at least four hours of overlap in CET. You’ll have direct access to the CTO/CEO, 5–10 min daily stand-ups, and a Kanban/Sprint workflow. We’re looking for a proactive self-starter who takes full ownership of features and consistently delivers beyond expectations.
