Learning Development Manager
Role mission: To build a strong foundation for a high-performance culture by enhancing our practices in employee development, learning, and performance evaluation.
Context & Focus Areas
This role sits at the intersection of development, learning, and performance - all in different stages of maturity:
- Learning & Development: Already active with an established calendar and internal programs, but requires rethinking to ensure stronger alignment with business priorities, modernized delivery formats, and measurable outcomes.You will be the owner of this responsibility zone.
- Performance Management & Development: This area is evolving. The focus is on building clear development tools like PDPs and career tracks, helping managers use them effectively, and supporting the shift toward a high-performance culture as part of everyday leadership. You will be a part of a group working on this project.
Key Responsibilities
Learning & Development
- Refine and optimize the company-wide learning calendar and L&D programs.
- Review and align learning initiatives with organizational needs and priorities through close cooperation with the main stakeholders (R&D, Revenue teams).
- Redesign delivery formats for greater engagement and impact (e.g., blended learning, bite-sized sessions).
- Measure effectiveness through feedback, adoption, and application on the job.
Culture & Engagement
- Drive company-wide events like All Hands and CEO Talks to strengthen alignment and engagement.
Team management
- Provide coordination and support for corporate trainers who independently manage session delivery.
- Ensure alignment with the learning calendar, track training effectiveness, and assist with content and format when needed.
Performance & Growth
As a part of the project group
- Design and implement PDP (Personal Development Plan) frameworks.
- Enable and train managers to have effective development conversations
- Partner with People Partners to define career paths and track progress
- Drive performance cycle improvements in methodology, communications, and rituals.
Experience
- 5+ years of experience in Learning & Development or Talent Development, with a proven ability to design and implement impactful programs at scale.
- Hands-on experience in Performance Management frameworks (e.g., PDPs, career paths, manager enablement).
- Prior work with remote and distributed teams, ideally across multiple time zones and cultural contexts.
- Experience in fast-paced, product-driven environments, ideally in tech or SaaS.
Skills
- English - C1
- Strategic thinker with strong execution ability β you can build systems and also deliver sessions yourself.
- Strong facilitation and communication skills β especially in training managers and running cross-team sessions.
- Able to build trust and collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders (e.g., R&D, Revenue, Operations).
- Organized and proactive, comfortable leading initiatives in environments with high ownership and low process overhead.
Nice to Have
- Experience working with people analytics, e-learning platforms.
- Familiarity with tools like Slido, Tally, Notion, Slack, or similar collaboration systems.
