Full-stack Developer (React/Node.js)

We are seeking a skilled Full-stack Developer to join our team and help build a cutting-edge, multi-vendor platform for a consumer product.

Our primary project runs on a Node.js backend and a React frontend, supported by MySQL and Redis. This position offers the flexibility of working remotely full-time.

Key Responsibilities

• Full-Stack Feature Development: Design and implement scalable end-to-end features using React.js on the frontend and Node.js on the backend.
• Performance Optimization: Optimize application responsiveness and efficiency using Redis for caching and real-time data handling.
• Quality & Testing: Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code (unit/integration testing, debugging, profiling).
• Delivery Management: Independently estimate, prioritize, and execute tasks within agile project timelines.

• Architectural Collaboration: Work alongside cross-functional teams to analyze business requirements and implement robust architecture.

   

Responsibilities:

• 2+ years of commercial Full-Stack development experience using React.js and Node.js
• React.js expertise:
  • Class components (lifecycle methods, state management).
  • Functional components (Hooks, performance patterns).
• Strong experience building RESTful APIs, microservices, and backend integrations in Node.js (knowledge of GraphQL or OData is a plus).
• Working knowledge of relational databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL).
• Hands-on with Redis (caching, real-time features).
• Strong problem-solving and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently, troubleshoot issues, and propose practical solutions.

Nice to Have

• Experience with PostgreSQL or other relational databases.
• Knowledge of multi-vendor platforms (e.g., Sharetribe).
• Experience with payment gateway integrations (e.g., Stripe Connect for marketplaces).
• Cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP).
