QA Student / Trainee to $500 Offline
DevCom is looking for a Student / Trainee QA!
If you have a solid theoretical foundation in manual testing and a strong desire to learn, we invite you to join our Student Program. You’ll gain hands-on experience, improve your skills, and grow in a professional environment with the support of a strong QA team.
We are looking for candidates with completed education. The position is not intended to be combined with ongoing academic studies!
The benefits of our student program:

— Student program for three months. In this period, the stipend will be paid ($300 gross per month)
Project description:
ASME - American Society of Mechanical Engineers (Projects: Asme.org, JT, CS Connect)
Country: USA
Business Field: not-for-profit membership organization that enables collaboration, knowledge sharing, career enrichment, and skills development across all engineering disciplines
Technologies: Java, ASP.NET MVC, .NET Core, Angular 1, Coldfusion 9, Coldfusion 18, MS SQL Server, Salesforce
Required Skills:
- Completion of formal software testing courses (mandatory)
- Education must be completed; this role does not support combining work with ongoing studies
- Upper-Intermediate or higher level of English (written and spoken)
- Solid basic knowledge of software testing theory
- Understanding of the software development lifecycle (SDLC) and software testing lifecycle (STLC)
- Familiarity with test documentation (test cases, bug reports, checklists)
- Basic experience with API testing tools such as Postman or Swagger
- Basic knowledge of Database (be able to write database queries to verify data as part of testing)
- Strong analytical skills and ability to structure and interpret information
- High attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team
- Logical, curious, and analytical mindset with a passion for problem-solving
- Understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies
- Experience or understanding/familiarity with SharePoint, Confluence
- Experience or understanding/familiarity with Jira or similar issue-tracking systems
Experience or understanding/familiarity with Test tool such as Testrail, Zephyr, Xray or similar Test systems
Nice to have:
- Recent graduate in a STEM field (Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics)
- Basic understanding of client-server architecture
- Experience or familiarity with Salesforce
- Experience or familiarity with automation testing (Open source Automation frameworks or Licenseced based such as AccelQ)
- Good to have knowledge or hands on Snowflake and ETL tools.
