As we continue to scale, we’re looking for a Tech Lead who can drive architecture, scalability, and mentoring across a rapidly growing engineering team.

🎯 Your Mission

As Tech Lead, you’ll own the technical direction and architecture of our platform. You’ll collaborate closely with Product, Design, and QA teams, guide development across backend and frontend stacks, and lead engineers by example — writing clean, scalable code and ensuring delivery at a high standard.

🔧 Core Skills & Responsibilities

Technical Expertise

• Languages (Must Have): Angular, PHP (Laravel), Golang, Python
• Architecture: Design and implement scalable, maintainable, and performant systems
• Databases:
  • MySQL (Must Have): Clustered setup to handle high-volume financial transactions
  • Redis (Must Have): Session management and data caching
  • RabbitMQ or Kafka (Nice to Have): Asynchronous messaging
     
• Cloud & Infrastructure (Nice to Have): AWS, Hetzner; Docker, Kubernetes
• Version Control: Expert-level Git usage, pull requests, branching workflows
• CI/CD & DevOps: Build pipelines, automated testing, deployments
  
   

Leadership & Collaboration

• Mentor junior and senior developers, foster a culture of ownership and quality
• Lead daily standups, sprint planning, and retrospectives
• Work cross-functionally with designers, PMs, and stakeholders
• Provide technical guidance and conduct regular code reviews
  
   

Project & People Management

• Agile/Scrum or Kanban experience
• Familiarity with tools like Jira, Trello, Notion
• Estimate task complexity, manage sprint capacity and delivery
• Help resolve technical conflicts and tradeoffs
  
   

Soft Skills

• Strong verbal & written communication skills
• Continuous learner, curious about emerging tools and frameworks
• Able to operate in ambiguity and provide structure and clarity to the team
• Conflict resolution and technical negotiation

✅ Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in software development
• 2+ years of experience leading engineering teams
• Hands-on experience with Angular, Laravel, Python and/or Golang
• Strong English communication skills
• Must be available for at least 4 hours overlap with U.S. Central Time (CST/CDT)
