Research Engineer – ML-Powered Rendering Systems

Job Description
 

We’re looking for a machine learning engineer with strong technical depth and a creative mindset to help us advance the realism and responsiveness of animated characters. You’ll join a highly specialized team working on real-time motion synthesis and simulation, developing systems that bring digital characters to life in interactive experiences. This is an opportunity to build systems that replicate the complexity of human movement and emotion in real time. You’ll work on challenging problems that bridge the physical and digital worlds—and contribute to experiences that feel truly alive.

🛠 Desired Skills and Experience
 

  • 5+ years of experience applying ML in a production setting, ideally with real-time systems
  • Deep proficiency with tools such as PyTorch or TensorFlow
  • Experience working with animation pipelines, rigged characters, or real-time graphics engines
  • Strong understanding of performance constraints and model optimization for inference
  • Comfortable collaborating across disciplines (engineering, art, research)
  • Nice to have: experience with facial modeling, expression analysis, or motion capture data
