Senior Python Backend Engineer to $7500

With incoming data inflow of ~1 million tweets per day and peak load of ~80 RPS, we’re looking for a Senior Python Backend Engineer to build quick, performant, reliable systems. You’ll have the opportunity to bring the impact, write get code, learn from the best, share knowledge and experience, and delight users with stability together with Frontend, Product and ML teams.

Requirements

• Python, SOLID, Design Patterns - absolutely essential and high proficiency required
• 6+ years of experience in Backend. At least 2 years of experience as Senior Engineer.
• Ability to write well-structured, testable code with thoughtful abstractions and interfaces.
• High proficiency of Data Structures and Algorithms
• Clear communication, self-organization skills, desire for ownership over significant part of Backend.
• English: good enough to read and write code documentation
• Basic DevOps and Kubernetes, proficiency with Docker and Linux.
• Nice to have: experience building data pipelines
