WordPress developer

Waterfall is looking for a passionate, qualified WordPress developer for short-term project for 3-4 months.

Key Qualifications:

• 2+ years of WP Development experience;
• English (Intermediate);
• Skills in responsive, valid, cross-browser layout (HTML5, JS, CSS3);
• Good understanding of PHP back-end development;

• Experience of creating plugins and custom templates (Cross-browser valid layout, compliance with W3C standards).

   

Pure and valid code:

• Experience of working with popular WP plugins (ACF Pro/WooCommerce/Polylang etc);
• PHP / MySQL / JavaScript / jQuery / AJAX;
• Version control systems Git;
• Experience of working with Gulp;

• Skills in optimizing Page Speed and GTMetrix themes.

   

Would Be a Plus:

• OOP, design patterns;
• Database design experience;
• Knowledge of Linux command-line tools;

• Redmine/Trello or other experience from working with management tools.

   

The Wordpress Developer will be responsible for the development of websites, from layout to release.

Breaking this down, your duties and responsibilities will include:

• Website development of different levels of complexity (adaptive and cross-browser are musts);
• CMS integration;
• Current projects support and upgrading;

• Participation in the development of in-company projects.
