Frontend Engineer (Svelte) for AI Chat Platform (Short-Term Project)

We are looking for a skilled Frontend Engineer (m/f/d) to join a short-term initiative aimed at developing a modern, lightweight chat interface for our internal EnterpriseGPT platform.

This is an exciting opportunity to work at the intersection of Svelte, AI/chat UX, and enterprise-grade security, with potential for future collaboration.

🔧 Project Scope & Responsibilities

• Build and integrate a lightweight chat frontend using Svelte
• Ensure secure API integration with AI/chat backend services
• Implement role-based access control via Azure Entra ID (OAuth2 / OpenID Connect)
• Optionally enhance or extend an open-source UI shell (e.g., LibreChat, OpenWebUI) to include chat, agent control, and document handling features

• Follow enterprise UX guidelines and collaborate within a corporate design system

   

✅ Must-Have Skills

• Strong proficiency in Svelte
• Solid understanding of Node.js and React
• Experience working with open-source chat UIs (LibreChat, OpenWebUI, etc.)
• Skilled in REST API integration, particularly for AI/chat applications
• Familiarity with OAuth2 / OpenID Connect and Azure AD (Entra ID)
• Proficient with Git and CI/CD workflows (preferably Azure DevOps)
• Comfortable working within VPN-restricted environments
• Strong UX mindset and experience working with design systems

• Experience with LangChain UI or similar GPT-based frontend frameworks
