What You'll Be Doing:

• Build and customize WordPress (WP) websites and plugins
• Work with WooCommerce to create seamless eCommerce solutions
• Build complex layouts using Elementor and other page builders
• Collaborate via Git, peer reviews, and best coding practices
• Extend websites using ACF, custom fields, and Gutenberg
• Ensure SEO-friendly and high-speed performance
• Develop REST APIs and dynamic features

Requirements:

• 3+ years of hands-on experience with WP
• GitHub or portfolio showcasing your best work
• Strong debugging, troubleshooting & performance optimization skills
• Solid knowledge of Git and Unix-based systems
• Ukrainian and English at B2+ level

Bonus Points if You Have:

• Experience using Composer for WP dependency management

• Experience working with Shopify Themes and Shopify API
• Understanding of Docker, or willingness to learn it in 1–2 weeks

🔌 Plugin Development

• Plugin API, shortcodes, Singleton, Factory, MVC structure

🛒 WooCommerce

• WC Hooks, filters, custom order statuses
• WC Subscriptions, Stripe/PayPal integrations

📐 Page Builders

• Elementor, WPBakery, Divi — custom widgets & optimization

🧬 Performance & DB Optimization

• MySQL, WPDB, Meta_Query, Tax_Query
• Speed optimization: Lazy Load, Redis, Memcached
