Senior DevOps Engineer Offline

Our client is a private holding company pursuing special situation control investments in the digital assets space. Its global crypto team possesses deep experience in both the scaling of new ventures and the restructuring of complex assets. The client seeks to leverage operational and technical synergies across its portfolio companies to drive innovation. 

Responsibilities:

• 10+ years in DevOps/SRE/Infrastructure roles
• Proven experience in crypto or fintech environments
• Strong hands-on AWS experience: ECS, EKS, EC2, RDS, S3, CloudFront, Lambda, IAM, etc.
• Experience with GCP infrastructure (at least basic exposure)
• Expertise in Kubernetes (production-level cluster management)
• Terraform/Terragrunt for IaC (large scale); CloudFormation for smaller projects
• CI/CD pipelines: GitLab CI, Bitbucket Pipelines, CodeBuild/CodeDeploy
• Scripting: Python (preferred), Bash
• PostgreSQL/Aurora experience, including database proxy setups
• Solid understanding of VPC, NAT Gateways, VPNs, load balancers, security groups

Nice to have:

• Experience improving legacy infrastructure or reverse-engineering undocumented systems
• Familiarity with GitLab and Bitbucket workflows
• Background with high-load, high-throughput systems
• Exposure to mixed cloud environments (AWS + GCP)

Responsibilities:

• Maintain and modernize AWS and GCP infrastructure (focus on AWS)
• Manage and troubleshoot EKS/ECS clusters with limited documentation
• Set up and manage CI/CD pipelines (GitLab, Bitbucket, CodePipeline, etc.)
• Implement Infrastructure as Code (Terraform/Terragrunt, CloudFormation)
• Collaborate with backend and frontend engineers across several teams
