THE ROLE: YOUR MISSION
We’re hiring a Senior eCommerce Marketing Manager to lead growth through strategic direction and high-level execution. This is not a hands-on media buyer or VA-level role — this is for a strategist and marketing lead who can guide campaigns, manage agency partners, and understand how to speak to our audience at every touchpoint.
We already have capable agencies and specialists running ads — your job is to direct, evaluate, and optimize those efforts, ensuring every dollar spent aligns with our brand, growth objectives, and customer avatar.
You must also have a strong grasp of brand positioning and a deep understanding of customer behavior — particularly in how it relates to the kinds of products we sell and the emotional connection we create with our buyers.
You’ll work closely with leadership to oversee our cross-platform marketing efforts, define KPIs, and translate business goals into actionable marketing strategies.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Strategy & Planning
- Develop and execute a comprehensive multi-channel marketing strategy aligned with business objectives
- Define and track key metrics (ROAS, CAC, CLV) across campaigns and channels
- Build quarterly and annual marketing calendars with a focus on promotions, launches, and seasonal trends
- Guide external agencies and internal teams in executing cohesive campaigns
Campaign Direction & Agency Oversight
- Oversee paid media campaigns (Facebook/META, Google, Bing, Amazon, TikTok) led by agency partners
- Audit and optimize campaign performance, ensuring creative, messaging, and spend are on-brand and data-driven
- Lead campaign kick-offs, provide strategic direction, and give constructive feedback to ad partners
Customer-Centric Brand Strategy
- Champion a clear understanding of our customer avatar, guiding messaging and creative direction
- Ensure brand consistency and voice across all platforms: email, web, social, product, and advertising
- Oversee creative briefs, visual assets, and copy to align with brand positioning particularly ad copy and ad creatives
Email, Content & SEO Oversight
- Supervise execution of email automation, flows, and newsletters via platforms like Klaviyo or Mailchimp
- Lead SEO/content planning and collaborate with VAs or freelancers to produce optimized materials
- Maintain strategic control of messaging across blogs, product pages, and landing pages
Influencer, Affiliate & Community Strategy
- Define and guide influencer/affiliate campaigns, including outreach strategy and performance tracking
- Explore community building and engagement tactics across platforms such as TikTok and Instagram
Reporting & Insight-Driven Optimization
- Monitor and interpret performance data across all key marketing platforms
- Report on trends, identify opportunities, and make data-backed strategic pivots as needed

REQUIREMENTS
Experience
- 5+ years in marketing, with at least 2 in a strategic leadership role within eCommerce
- Experience managing or directing agencies running Facebook/META, Google, Amazon, and TikTok ads
- Strong grasp of brand positioning and proven ability to articulate and protect brand identity
- Hands-on familiarity with Shopify, Amazon Seller Central, and Klaviyo or Mailchimp
Skills & Attributes
- Strategic thinker with the ability to guide execution without micromanaging
- Excellent written and verbal communication in English
- Highly analytical, yet creative — comfortable moving between performance data and customer emotion
- Strong leadership presence, ownership mentality, and bias for action
Bonus Qualifications
- Previous experience with influencer, affiliate, or creator marketing
- Familiarity with marketplaces like Etsy and Walmart
- Use of tools like Helium 10, Data Dive, GA4, and Meta Business Suite
