Senior Python Developer

We’re looking for a Senior Python Developer to join a team working on a business analytics platform for the nonprofit sector. The product enables grantmakers and philanthropists to analyze nonprofit ecosystems across the country—understanding who is involved, how they are connected, and where funding flows. You’ll work in a collaborative, impact-driven environment where clean code, scalable architecture, and clear communication are key.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain backend services using Python.
• Design and optimize relational databases and complex SQL queries.
• Ensure performance, scalability, and security within AWS infrastructure.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver product features.
• Write clean, well-tested, and maintainable code.

Requirements:

• 7+ years of professional experience with Python.
• Excellent knowledge of SQL and relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL).
• Hands-on experience with AWS infrastructure and services.
• Will be a plus: experience with ReactJS. 
• Fluent English and strong communication skills.
