SysAdmin – Storage and Backup / Windows Server (NetApp, Veeam, ExaGrid)
We are looking for a System Administrator with a hybrid skillset combining Storage & Backup management (NetApp, Veeam, ExaGrid) and experience in Windows Server and Active Directory. This is a cross-functional role with primary focus on backup administration that requires flexibility and a willingness to learn across both technical domains.
Responsibilities
- Storage & Backup, as primary focus:
- Configure and manage NetApp NAS (ONTAP OS, Snapshots, SnapMirror, etc.)
- Set up and monitor Veeam Backup & Replication
- Design and implement backup policies to meet recovery objectives (RPO/RTO) using Veeam or ExaGrid
- Manage ExaGrid appliances for efficient backup storage
- Ensure successful DR testing and backup restore procedures
- Monitor capacity, performance, and run firmware/ONTAP upgrades
- Windows & AD, as general support:
- Deploy, maintain, and monitor Windows Server infrastructure
- Administer Active Directory, GPOs, DNS, DHCP
- Troubleshoot OS and infrastructure issues
- Apply security patches and follow best practices
General Duties
- Document procedures and system configs
- Participate in on-call rotation
- Collaborate with other IT teams
- Track system KPIs and provide reporting
Requirements
- 3+ years in IT System/Infrastructure Administration
- Experience with NetApp, Veeam, ExaGrid
- Strong Windows Server & Active Directory skills
- At least Intermediate English level (occasional communication, reading docs)
Nice to Have
- Experience with VMware or Hyper-V
- Scripting knowledge (PowerShell, Bash, etc.)
- Awareness of compliance frameworks (ISO, GDPR, etc.)
