Tizen OS App Developer (VPN Integration for Samsung Smart TV)

We are looking for an experienced Tizen OS Application Developer to create a formal VPN application for Samsung Smart TVs. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in smart TV app development, a deep understanding of the Tizen operating system, and experience integrating VPN functionality into user-friendly applications.
Excellent command of English (both written and spoken) is required for effective communication within our international team.
 

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and deploy a VPN application for Samsung Smart TVs running on Tizen OS.
• Ensure the application meets performance, security, and UX standards expected from formal Smart TV applications.
• Integrate secure VPN protocols and APIs within the app architecture.
• Collaborate closely with designers, QA engineers, and project managers to deliver high-quality product iterations.
• Perform thorough testing across multiple TV models and Tizen OS versions.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to connectivity, performance, and app compatibility.
• Maintain clear and professional communication in English with internal stakeholders and team members.
   

Requirements:

• Proven experience developing applications for Tizen OS, especially for Samsung Smart TVs.
• Strong proficiency in JavaScript, C++, and/or Samsung’s Tizen Studio.
• Solid understanding of VPN protocols and secure network communications.
• Experience working with Smart TV hardware limitations and UI/UX best practices.
• Fluent English skills — both written and verbal.
• Ability to work independently and within a collaborative team environment.
• Attention to detail, proactive problem-solving, and strong organizational skills.
   

Nice to Have:

• Experience with publishing apps to Samsung Smart TV app stores.
• Previous work on VPN-related projects.
• Familiarity with WebAssembly, WebRTC, or low-level networking libraries
