Junior Project Manager for Web development

Veel is looking for a Project Manager with 1 year of experience in IT, strong Agile expertise, and Upper-Intermediate+ English to manage our projects and improve team efficiency. What You Will Do
 

  • Manage the full project cycle – from planning and execution to successful delivery.
  • Communicate with clients (mostly English-speaking) to gather requirements, provide updates, and set clear expectations.
  • Collect progress updates from developers and ensure clear communication between the team and the client.
  • Write structured project updates and status reports to keep both internal teams and clients informed.
  • Oversee multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery and a smooth workflow.
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams (developers, designers, QA, DevOps) to ensure clear priorities and effective collaboration.
  • Set up roadmaps, project scopes, and deadlines using Linear or Jira.
  • Identify and resolve project risks before they escalate.
  • Organize and facilitate Agile ceremonies (standups, sprint planning, retrospectives, demos).
  • Ensure the quality of delivered projects by validating requirements before releases.

     

What We Expect From You
 

  • 1 + year of experience as a Project Manager in IT (web/mobile or SaaS projects).
  • Strong understanding of Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban) and real-world experience applying them.
  • Hands-on experience with project management tools (Linear, Jira, Asana, or similar).
  • Upper-Intermediate+ English (B2–C1) – confident verbal and written communication with clients.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills – ability to inspire teams, set clear goals, and resolve conflicts.
  • Great time-management & organizational skills – ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Basic technical knowledge of software development (you don’t need to code, but understanding the development lifecycle is essential).
  • Prior experience in an outsourcing or product company is a plus.
