Job Overview:
LivesPro Solution LLC is a dynamic US-based startup headquartered in Miami, currently preparing to launch an innovative video creation platform. We are seeking an experienced QA Automation Specialist to join our growing remote team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and executing automated test scripts to ensure our platform delivers high-quality performance and functionality.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in test automation frameworks, a keen eye for detail, and a passion for building efficient, scalable testing solutions. You will collaborate closely with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to identify issues early, streamline release cycles, and contribute to a seamless user experience.
Key Requirements:
Programming Languages
- Strong proficiency in JavaScript or TypeScript.
Playwright Framework Expertise
- Writing and maintaining Playwright scripts for end-to-end (E2E) testing.
- Writing reliable Playwright tests.
- Familiar with selectors, locators, test hooks, custom fixtures, and handling dynamic waits.
- Testing across multiple browsers: Chromium, (in the future Firefox, WebKit)
Framework and Test Suite Setup
- Managing configuration files, test environments, and organizing test structure.
CI/CD Integration
- Running tests via pipelines using GitHub Actions.
- Using headless browsers or Docker containers in automation workflows.
Web Application Fundamentals
- Understanding of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and DOM manipulation.
- Familiarity with front-end frameworks – React is a bonus.
API Testing
- Familiar with tools like Postman.
Version Control
- Proficient in Git for branching, merging, and collaboration.
QA and Testing Skills
Test Strategy & Design
- Understanding test types: smoke, regression, integration, and E2E testing.
Test Coverage & Maintenance
- Identifying what to automate (UI/API) and maintaining reliable test suites.
- Experience with test reporting, video capture, traces, and screenshots.
Bug Reporting & Triage
- Logging clear, reproducible bugs in ClickUp or similar systems.
- Collaborating with dev teams during defect analysis.
Debugging
- Handling flaky tests, timeouts, and intermittent issues in CI environments.
Soft Skills
- Attention to Detail – Detect UI issues, edge cases, and test gaps.
- Problem-Solving – Quickly diagnose and resolve test failures or framework issues.
- Collaboration – Communicate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Documentation – Write and maintain test case docs, bug reports, and framework usage guides.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain E2E automated tests using Playwright (JavaScript/TypeScript).
- Set up and manage test frameworks, environments, and CI/CD integrations (GitHub Actions).
- Perform cross-browser testing and API testing using Postman.
- Collaborate with developers and QA team to ensure test coverage and bug resolution.
- Write clear bug reports and maintain test documentation.
- Troubleshoot flaky tests and optimize test reliability in CI environments.
- Ensure high-quality UI and functional testing across web applications.
- Use Git for version control and participate in code reviews.

Hiring Process:
- Cultural Fit Interview:
We start with a cultural fit interview to ensure alignment with our values, mission, and work culture. - Technical Interview:
The next step involves a technical interview to assess your proficiency in the QA Automation, problem-solving skills, and ability to contribute as a QA Automation Specialist. - Test Period:
Successful candidates will enter a paid test period (1-3 months), working on real projects to evaluate your performance, communication, and fit with the team. - Full-Time Position:
Upon successful completion of the test period, you will be considered for a full-time position, where you can fully integrate into the team and work long-term.
