UX/UI Designer for Ecommerce

About Us:
Gouche is a small but highly specialized development company focused on building and scaling e-commerce platforms. We partner with clients to bring their digital storefronts to life and are currently expanding our creative capacity by hiring a freelance UX/UI designer to assist with ongoing client projects.

What We’re Looking For:
We’re seeking a freelance UX/UI designer with proven experience in e-commerce design. This is an hourly-based role where you’ll work alongside our Project Manager and may occasionally join client meetings—so strong conversational English is essential.

Responsibilities:

Create wireframes, mockups, and high-fidelity designs for e-commerce platforms (desktop & mobile; Shopify specifically)

Collaborate with our PM and developers to ensure smooth implementation

Participate in client calls to gather requirements or present design work when needed

Work with or adapt to existing design systems when applicable

Ideal Candidate:

Strong portfolio showcasing e-commerce UX/UI work

Comfortable with Figma (or other industry-standard tools)

Good communication skills and client-facing confidence

Able to estimate timelines for standard tasks (e.g., PDP design)
