Senior SRE (DevOps)

About the Role
We are looking for a Senior Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) / DevOps Consultant to help us level up the infrastructure behind our CRM Platform Ecosystem. This is a part-time contract role focused on Terraform-based IaC, CI/CD pipeline optimization, and monitoring & alerting improvements.
Youβll work directly with the CTO and backend teams to establish production-grade reliability, automation, and visibility standards for a fast-scaling, modular CRM platform.
Key Responsibilities
β’ Refactor and implement Terraform-based infrastructure for AWS (or cloud provider of choice).
β’ Redesign and optimize our CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions / GitLab CI or other), improving speed, reliability, and rollback capabilities.
β’ Set up and fine-tune monitoring and observability stacks (Prometheus, Grafana, Loki, ELK, etc.).
β’ Define and implement alerting systems based on SLOs/SLIs using best practices (e.g., on-call playbooks, alert routing).
β’ Ensure infrastructure is scalable, secure, and cloud-agnostic where possible.
β’ Review and improve secrets management, deployment automation, and environment management.
β’ Work with backend engineers to support Terraform modules, deployments, and integrations with PostgreSQL, Redis, and RabbitMQ.
β’ Provide knowledge transfer and documentation to the internal engineering team for future scalability.
Requirements
Must-Have
β’ 5+ years of experience in DevOps/SRE, including production support and infrastructure automation.
β’ Expert in Terraform for AWS/Azure/GCP provisioning.
β’ Strong hands-on experience with CI/CD tools (e.g., GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, CircleCI).
β’ Experience configuring and tuning Prometheus, Grafana, Loki, or similar observability stacks.
β’ Proficient in scripting with Bash, Python, or Go.
β’ Strong understanding of Docker, Kubernetes (optional but preferred), and container security.
β’ Excellent communication and documentation skills.
Nice-to-Have
β’ Experience in multi-environment workflows (staging, dev, prod).
β’ Familiarity with hexagonal or modular application architectures.
β’ Previous work on CRM platforms or SaaS applications.
β’ Knowledge of compliance-aware infrastructure (SOC 2, GDPR).
