WordPress Developer – Frontend, UI/UX, CRO Specialist Offline

About the Project:

We’re looking for a WordPress Developer to develop, support, manage, and optimise a dental franchising website as part of a fast-growing digital marketing team. This is a hands-on, technical role where you’ll work closely with marketing and tech leads to deliver continuous improvements across the site’s performance, functionality, and user experience. You’ll play a key role in implementing CRO strategies, building responsive web pages and email templates, and ensuring a seamless digital journey for users.

 

Your Responsibilities:

  • Build and design web pages, landing pages, forms, and email templates.
  • Use WordPress to develop pixel-perfect, responsive designs optimized for speed and scalability.
  • Implement and manage A/B tests with bespoke landing page variants using Matomo.
  • Improve website functionality and customer journeys through testing and analytics.
  • Take ownership of front-end development tasks and coordinate with marketing stakeholders.
  • Continuously enhance UI/UX and ensure mobile-first, SEO-friendly development.
  • Deploy and manage marketing and tracking tags/scripts using GTM and Matomo.
  • Conduct QA testing, troubleshoot issues, and maintain high development standards.
  • Create internal documentation and participate in weekly team meetings to prioritize tasks.

     

What We’re Looking For:

  • Proven experience in front-end development using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and jQuery.
  • Strong skills in WordPress development and email template creation compatible with all major email clients.
  • Practical experience with CRO, UI/UX design, and SEO best practices.
  • Familiarity with tag management and analytics platforms such as GTM and Matomo.
  • Clean code practices and a strong understanding of architectural standards.
  • Proficiency with RESTful APIs, Google Cloud or AWS, Figma (for wireframing), and CRM/email tools like SendGrid.
  • Strong planning, communication, and problem-solving abilities.
