Senior DevOps Engineer Offline

As a Senior DevOps Engineer at Dripify you will design, implement, and own our cloud infrastructure and internal platform end-to-end. Partnering with development teams, you’ll streamline deployment workflows, safeguard reliability, and ensure we meet upcoming compliance/audit requirements — all with full technical ownership of the platform’s roadmap and outcomes.

What you will do

  1. Migrate AWS resources to Infrastructure-as-Code — own Terraform and Terragrunt (Pulumi / CloudFormation experience valued) with remote state, drift detection, and automated validation.
  2. Design and operate CI/CD pipelines — GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, CircleCI or Jenkins — that build, scan, test, and deploy containers to Kubernetes (EKS) using blue-green or canary releases.
  3. Define SLIs/SLOs, build real-time dashboards, automate alerts, and lead blameless incident reviews — own the service’s reliability narrative.
  4. Embed DevSecOps & compliance — move secrets to HashiCorp Vault or AWS Secrets Manager, enforce least-privilege IAM, apply policy-as-code (OPA / Sentinel), and automate evidence collection for external audits.
  5. Coach developers and document golden paths — create runbooks, workshops, and self-service templates that make “paved-road” adoption effortless.

Must-have experience

  • 5+ years building and running cloud infrastructure, with 3+ years on AWS (VPC, IAM, EC2, ALB, RDS, S3, EKS, CloudWatch, KMS).
  • IaC at scale — expertise in Terraform / Terragrunt (Pulumi / CloudFormation also valued) covering state management, modules, and CI validation.
  • Production Kubernetes — deployment, autoscaling, networking, upgrades, and monitoring.
  • CI/CD ownership — multi-stage pipelines in GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, CircleCI, or Jenkins with automated tests, security scans, and rollbacks.
  • Observability & SRE mindset — hands-on defining SLIs/SLOs; dashboards/alerts in Prometheus + Grafana, Datadog, New Relic, or ELK/OpenSearch; full incident-lifecycle ownership.
  • Strong scripting in Python, Bash, Go, or PowerShell and solid Linux & networking fundamentals (HTTP, DNS, TLS, subnetting).

Nice-to-have

  • GitOps experience (Argo CD / Flux).
  • Policy-as-code with OPA or Sentinel.
  • Relevant AWS certifications (e.g., AWS Certified DevOps Engineer – Professional, AWS Solutions Architect – Professional).
  • Bachelor’s / Master’s degree in CS, Engineering, or related field.

Leadership & ownership

  • Serves as sole technical owner of the platform, balancing reliability, speed, and compliance.
  • Facilitates cross-team architecture decisions and mentors engineers.
  • Communicates reliability trade-offs via error budgets and drives continuous improvement through post-incident reviews.
