Project Manager (Junior or Middle) Offline

Job Description: 

We are seeking a proactive and organized Project Manager to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will coordinate and oversee project tasks, ensuring smooth execution and timely delivery across multiple projects. You will work closely with developers, designers, and other stakeholders to maintain project momentum and uphold quality standards.
 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Task Management in Linear: Set up tasks in Linear, ensuring all requirements are clear, no blockers exist, and developers fully understand the scope. Verify task descriptions are complete and accurate.
  • Daily Oversight: Ensure all team members have assigned tasks in Linear, track task progress, confirm completed tasks are finalized, and relevant comments are added.
  • Pre-Delivery Validation: Perform initial testing and review of completed tasks to ensure quality before presenting to clients.
  • Client Reporting: Prepare clear and concise project reports for clients, summarizing progress and deliverables.
  • Internal Reporting: Monitor and report on developers’ time allocation and hours tracked in PeopleForce.
  • Note: Responsibilities such as estimation, business analysis, product planning, and account management (presenting results to clients) will remain with senior team members and are not delegated to this role.
     

Requirements:

  • Project Coordination:
    • Ability to track tasks and deadlines across multiple projects.
    • Experience organizing and facilitating meetings, taking notes, and ensuring follow-through on decisions.
    • Maintain up-to-date project documentation.
  • Basic Project Management Knowledge:
    • Familiarity with the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
    • Understanding of project management methodologies (Agile, Scrum, Kanban).
    • Basic knowledge of risk and issue management.
  • Time Management:
    • Strong ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively.
    • Capacity to handle multiple small tasks while keeping the bigger picture in focus.
  • Basic Technical Understanding:
    • Proficiency with project management tools such as Jira, Trello, or similar (Linear experience is a plus).
    • Basic understanding of the roles and responsibilities of developers, designers, and testers.
  • Soft Skills:
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Detail-oriented with a proactive problem-solving mindset.
    • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
       

Nice-to-have:

  • Experience with Linear or PeopleForce.
  • Prior exposure to client-facing communication or reporting.
  • Basic testing or QA experience.
