PHP Symfony

We’re looking for a PHP developer with Symfony experience to strengthen our team. The development department currently includes over 200 specialists spread across more than 30 cities and countries.
This is a large European fintech company that has grown from 50 developers over the past three years and continues to expand rapidly.

Your Key Responsibilities

• Be part of a cross-functional, self-managed team operating under agile methodologies;
• Contribute to the planning, design, development, and ongoing support of our products;
• Continuously grow as a software engineer and collaborate with teammates by sharing knowledge and insights;
• Adhere to and help enhance coding best practices, actively participating in daily code reviews (both giving and receiving);

• Be ready to integrate tools like ChatGPT or similar AI assistants into your daily workflow to boost productivity and streamline repetitive tasks.

   

Requirements

• Approximately 5 years of experience working as a PHP developer;
• Solid hands-on experience with the Symfony framework;
• Strong understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) and SOLID principles to tackle complex technical challenges;
• While prior experience with unit testing isn’t mandatory, you should be prepared to engage with it as part of your development work.
