About Project — our client provides Business Intelligence solutions tailored for life insurance companies. They help clients gain real-time visibility into their actuarial and operational health.
Engagement type: part-time, 5-6 months.
Key Responsibilities:
- Designing, implementing, and maintaining the overall data architecture, ensuring scalability, performance, and security.
- Defining standards and best practices for data modeling, data storage, data integration, and data consumption.
- Evaluating and recommending data technologies and platforms (e.g., databases, data warehouses, data lakes, processing frameworks).
- Overseeing the design and implementation of data models tailored to business needs
- Ensuring data quality, security, consistency, and accessibility across the organization.
- Collaborating with engineering teams to ensure efficient and reliable data pipelines and integration processes.
- Contributing to documentation processes.
Requirements:
- Deep experience in data modeling, database design, and data warehousing concepts.
- Proven ability to design and implement scalable, reliable, and secure data architectures.
- Experience with various data storage technologies (relational, NoSQL, data lakes, data warehouses, e.g., Snowflake).
- Understanding of data integration patterns and ETL/ELT processes.
- Knowledge of data governance, data security, and data quality principles.
- Experience with BI tools (e.g., Sigma, Omni, Looker, Tableau) is a plus.
- Comfortable working in a startup or fast-paced environment.
- Strong attention to detail, passion for well-structured data and architecture.
- Proficiency in SQL and experience with cloud data platforms.
- At least Upper-Intermediate English; fluent in Ukrainian.
