Lead DevOps Engineer with Azure

Location: Hybrid — Poland (Wrocław or Kraków)
Workload: 2–3 days per week from the client’s office

About the Project:
Join the Global Markets Financing stream within the Investment Banking division in Poland. The team is dedicated to enhancing, modernizing, and transforming platforms for both internal and external users. You will work alongside top-tier professionals on high-impact solutions.

🔧 Key Responsibilities

• Apply DevOps principles with a focus on automation, reusability, and testing
• Build secure, scalable, and observable systems
• Participate in or lead architecture and design reviews
• Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback to ensure coding standards and efficiency
• Diagnose and resolve infrastructure issues, identifying root causes and minimizing service disruption
• Clarify and refine ambiguous requirements to reduce risk and ensure alignment

✅ Must-Have Expertise

• Proven Tech Lead experience in cloud-based environments
  (Azure certification is a strong plus)
• Strong proficiency in one or more programming languages: Java, C#, Go, or Python
• Hands-on experience with Docker and Kubernetes (especially Azure Kubernetes Service)
• Solid understanding of CI/CD tools: GitLab, Azure DevOps, Jenkins, Maven, Helm
• Familiarity with Service Mesh frameworks like Istio
• Proficiency in Infrastructure-as-Code tools: ARM, Terraform, Ansible, Bicep, Puppet
• Experience in scripting: Bash, PowerShell, Azure CLI
• Practical knowledge of Agile methodologies: Scrum, XP, Kanban
• Solid grasp of design patterns and distributed system architecture

🌟 Nice-to-Have Skills

• Basic understanding of security concepts: OpenID Connect, OAuth2, JWT, TLS
• Experience with databases: both relational (PostgreSQL) and NoSQL (Azure Cosmos DB)
• Knowledge of monitoring and logging tools: Azure Monitor, Prometheus, Grafana
• Hands-on experience managing Unix/Linux servers
• Familiarity with RESTful APIs
