Weβre seeking an experienced Azure Cloud & Kubernetes Administrator to help scale, secure, and optimize our global cloud infrastructure. This is a mid-to-senior level role for a proactive sysadmin who thrives in a high-impact environment and brings deep expertise in Azure and Kubernetes. Youβll play a mission-critical role in driving performance, availability, and automation across our production environments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Cloud Infrastructure Management: Own and optimize our Azure-based environments, ensuring reliability, scalability, and cost-efficiency.
- Kubernetes Operations: Deploy, manage, and troubleshoot Kubernetes clusters, including Helm-based deployments and cluster scaling strategies.
- DevOps: Work closely with development teams to support CI/CD pipelines, service resilience, and infrastructure alignment with product needs.
- Security & Compliance (SOC II): Apply security best practices, lead vulnerability management, and support our SOC II compliance process.
- Infrastructure Automation: Automate provisioning, deployment, and scaling using Terraform or similar tools.
- Monitoring & Observability: Build and maintain effective monitoring solutions (Grafana, Prometheus, etc.), ensuring system uptime and quick incident resolution.
- System Hardening: Administer Linux-based systems (primarily Ubuntu), implement patching and secure configurations across environments.
- Workspace & Tooling Administration: Manage dev team infrastructure including access control, VPN, cloud workspaces, and internal tools.
Required Qualifications:
- 5+ years in systems administration or cloud infrastructure roles.
- 2+ years hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure.
- Strong Kubernetes expertise (EKS/AKS, Helm, pod autoscaling, ingress controllers, etc.).
- Solid experience with Linux administration (Ubuntu/Debian preferred).
- Familiarity with infrastructure-as-code (e.g., Terraform).
- Scripting knowledge in Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
- Experience managing production-grade environments with high uptime requirements.
Bonus Experience (Nice-to-Haves):
- Experience with RabbitMQ, PostgreSQL, Nginx, and Cloudflare
- Familiarity with Grafana, Prometheus, or other observability stacks.
- Experience with storage container management and WAFs.
- Azure certifications (e.g., AZ-104, AZ-305) or Kubernetes certifications (CKA/CKAD).
- Experience with GCP or other cloud platforms is a plus.
Additional Skills (Preferred):
- Azure and Google Cloud Platform: Knowledge of Azure and GCP is a plus, along with relevant certifications.
- Certifications: Any relevant certifications (e.g., Azure, AWS, Kubernetes, SOC II) are a plus.
