Automation QA Engineer Offline

We're looking for a QA professional with a solid technical foundation and hands-on experience in web automation. If you have 1+ year of experience with tools like Cypress or Playwright, know how to test APIs, and enjoy digging into test design — we’d love to meet you.

Responsibilities:

Development, maintenance, and improvement of automated test scripts (E2E, API)

Automation of Smoke and Regression testing cycles.

Execution and analysis of automation test results, debugging failures, and reporting issues.

Integration of automated tests into CI/CD pipelines.

Collaboration with the development team to ensure automated test coverage aligns with business and technical requirements.

Analysis of functional and technical requirements for developing automation test cases.

Code reviews and maintenance of high-quality automation standards.

Active participation in defining and optimizing QA automation processes

Work closely with QA engineers to streamline testing workflows and enhance collaboration between automation and manual testing efforts

Requirements:

At least 1 year of practical experience specifically in test automation for web-based applications.

Proficiency in JavaScript

Hands-on experience with automation frameworks/tools like Cypress or Playwright.

Familiarity with version control systems (Git).

Knowledge of HTTP, REST API

Good understanding of SDLC and STLC

Experience with API testing tools such as Postman, Newman, or Insomnia.

Familiarity with test design techniques (Boundary Value Analysis, Equivalence Partitioning, State Transition, etc.).

Hands-on experience with test design (test plans, test cases, checklists, requirement analysis)

Strong analytical, problem-solving skills, and ability to communicate effectively with cross-functional teams.

English proficiency level B1 or higher.

Nice to Have:

Experience with test management systems like TestRail, Qase, Zephyr, etc.

Experience with project management tools (Jira, Trello, Rally, etc.).

Understanding of client-server architecture

Experience with API automation testing (REST).
