Job Overview

LivesPro Solution LLC is a US based startup with the headquarters in Miami. We are launching a video creation platform soon and at the moment our team is looking for an experienced Full-Stack MERN Developer who will be responsible for both the front-end and back-end development of our project. As a key developer, you will work closely with other startup team members and vendors to develop scalable, user-friendly applications that will positively impact millions of users. This is a long-term role with the opportunity to transition into a full-time position.

Key Requirements

• Extensive experience in full-stack software development using the MERN stack (MongoDB, Express.js, React.js, Node.js).
• A record of completed projects in production using the MERN stack and other relevant technologies.
• Experience working on projects from scratch, including architecture and deployment.
• Solid understanding of cloud platforms such as AWS, Google Cloud and Heroku.
• Strong knowledge of database management systems, particularly MongoDB and relational databases.
• Ability to perform technical research to:
  • Invent new approaches.
  • Find simple and elegant solutions to complex problems.
  • Be an effective self-learner.
• Familiarity with Agile development methodologies (Scrum, Kanban).
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to collaborate in a remote team.
• Experience working in startups or a fast-paced, dynamic environment, with a passion for the startup culture.
• Willingness to take ownership of tasks and see them through to completion.
• Experience using Cursor or Windsurf is a big plus.

Responsibilities

• Develop both front-end and back-end solutions in collaboration with product managers, designers, and other developers.
• Participate in architecture design, technology stack decisions, and feature prioritization.
• Write clean, maintainable, and scalable code following best practices.
• Ensure the responsiveness and performance of applications across different platforms and devices.
• Work closely with external vendors to integrate third-party services and APIs as needed.
• Perform research to find innovative solutions for non-trivial problems.
• Maintain comprehensive documentation for projects, processes, and systems.
• Regularly report on project progress, performance, and potential improvements.
• Take initiative to identify and implement improvements in the development process.
• Participate in other job-related activities that drive the success of the project.

Hiring Process:

1. Cultural Fit Interview:
   We start with a cultural fit interview to ensure alignment with our values, mission, and work culture.
2. Technical test.
3. Technical Interview:
   The next step involves a technical interview to assess your proficiency in the MERN stack, problem-solving skills, and ability to contribute as a full-stack developer.
4. Test Period:
   Successful candidates will enter a paid test period (1-3 months), working on real projects to evaluate your performance, communication, and fit with the team. 
5. Full-Time Position:
   Upon successful completion of the test period, you will be considered for a full-time position, where you can fully integrate into the team and work long-term.
