Role Overview:
At Drawer.AI, we're not just another IT company – we're on a mission to revolutionize the way the world sees Construction Industry with Generative Design and Reinforcement Learning.
As our Lead QA Engineer, you’ll take ownership of our product’s quality from end to end. You’ll design and implement QA strategies, lead and mentor the QA team, and work closely with developers, product managers, and stakeholders to ensure the delivery of robust, high-quality features.
Key Responsibilities:
- Define and maintain QA standards and processes across the team.
- Lead implementation of the overall QA strategy aligned with project goals. - Lead the team through your own example: 50% Lead activities / 50% QA activities.
- Act as the escalation point for critical QA issues and blockers.
- Perform risk-based testing prioritization to surface critical defects early.
- Analyze QA metrics to drive process improvements and highlight successes.
- Ensure comprehensive test coverage through manual and automated testing.
- Create and review QA documentation (test cases, checklists, strategies, bug reports).
- Deliver clear, actionable QA reports for stakeholders and leadership.
Requirements:
- 7+ years in Software QA, including 2+ years in a leadership or coordination role.
- Proven experience in testing complex, integrated systems.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a focus on testability.
- Proficient in project management tools (e.g., Jira) and test management tools (e.g., TestRail).
- Familiar with version control systems (e.g., Git).
- Solid knowledge of Agile frameworks (Scrum, Kanban) and QA best practices - Effective communicator and team collaborator.
- Skilled in managing long-term software complexity in logic-heavy applications.
- English proficiency: Upper-Intermediate (written and verbal).
