THE ROLE
You will join a small team building a new product from the ground up both the client-facing app and the internal admin panel. The team is small and the codebase is brand new, so this is not a ticket-taking role: you will help shape the data model, the service boundaries and the integration patterns, and then build them.
Most of the weight sits on the back end. Strong React is what lets you close a feature end to end without a handoff.

REQUIREMENTS

• Strong TypeScript it is the primary language on both sides of the stack
• 5+ years of production back-end development with Node.js, including hands-on NestJS (or a comparable framework)
• MongoDB and Mongoose beyond CRUD schema design, indexing, aggregation, and modelling data that has to stay isolated per account
• Multi-tenant application experience tenant data isolation, roles and permissions (RBAC), account provisioning and invitations
• Payments and subscriptions shipped to production Stripe checkout and subscription lifecycle, webhook handling, idempotency, and gating access to features by what was actually paid for
• Third-party API integration as a core part of the product, not as an add-on OAuth, webhooks, retries and queues, and sensible behaviour when a provider is unavailable
• Comfortable starting from an empty repository project structure, environments, CI/CD, deployment
• Confident with the modern React stack Next.js, React Query, Redux Toolkit
• You use AI coding assistants (Claude Code or similar) as part of your everyday workflow our planning assumes it
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum teams, and the ability to work from written requirements and acceptance criteria

• English at B2 or above most communication is written and asynchronous, and you will be on calls with the client directly. Some overlap with US working hours is required.
